A BETTER CITY STARTS TODAY

SHELLEY MADORE FOR CITY COUNCIL

With a proven record of leadership, advocacy, and policy reform, I am running to serve as the Ward 2 City Council Member to bring equitable solutions to our community. As a former state legislator, disability advocate, and community leader, I have spent my career fighting for accessibility, social justice, and inclusive policies. Now, I’m ready to bring that same dedication to local government—ensuring that every resident has a voice, and no one is left behind.

I will work to create a city where public spaces, housing, transportation, and services are designed for everyone, where local businesses thrive, and where community engagement shapes our future. With your support, we can build a city that is not just functional—but fair, accessible, and genuinely welcoming to all.

Shelley’s Vision

PUBLIC SAFETY

I support building a better Minneapolis police force to restore community policing.

AFFORDABLE HOUSING

Every family deserves a safe home, and I have always supported tenants' rights.

ECONOMIC GROWTH

We need to address the issues that make it difficult for small or new businesses to succeed in Minneapolis.

TRANSPARENT LEADERSHIP

Your city council should work for you. As a trusted public servant, I plan to do just that.
